Unfair

As the young girl, I was selected as a young athlete of my primary school basketball team. My coach believed I will have a great future. However, I was not a hard worker. The huge load of the practice is too much for me usually. Therefore, I tried to skip some practice terms and had some rest for recovery. Because of my talent, I can still win the practice game in my training team. One day, there would be a game in my city. As the best athlete in my team, I was the first selection for my coach. I was exciting about the new game which can brought me a lot of awards. I really liked the feeling of being the first and accepting the golden metal. However, my coach was not selected my as the main member of the team. I was very upset about the decision. In order to find out the reason, I went to ask my coach. He told me my attitude in the training was bad. He did not believe I was in the good condition during the game. I regretted about the former behavior and watching my teammates winning the final game. I still believed that I was good enough and had the greatest condition during the game period. I was wronged about the decision of my coach. Although they still won the final championship finally, the game was hard without me. The game proved that I was necessary. My coach made a huge mistake by building a team without me.

Dumpiling--Chinese Food

    As the beginning of a new year, the spring festival is the most important traditional event in China. As the biggest part of the celebration, every family will prepare the dinner before the spring festival by their full heart and soul. Thousand years ago, the traditional Chinese families are all farmers. Their family income depends on the weather and the frequency of the raining. Therefore, the family income is not stable. Every winter after the harvest, every family will try their best to prepare a big dinner to show the richness of their family. This kind of celebration continuous for thousand years and becomes the most important traditional event in China.
   Usually, the spring festival eve dinner is including fish, beef, and pork. As the traditional, the dumplings should be made before a new year start. Chinese people believe that the dumplings indicate the following years will be great harvest year. In some part of China, people like to add some lucky sign inside the dumplings. The people who eat the dumplings with the lucky sign will have the lucky in the following year.
   Actually, the dumplings do not only play an important role in the spring festival eve dinner, dumplings also act the main character during the fifteen days New Year celebration. Chinese people would enjoy another big dinner of dumplings at the fifth day of the celebration. Thousand years ago, the long winter leads the lack of vegetables and meat. People at that time try their best to save the food for the winter. Hence, the dumplings are the best way for this purpose.

My hometown, Shenyang, is a beautiful city with heavy snow in winter which is located in the Northeast part of China. When I see the picture in the net, I remember the time of my childhood.
 As the picture, I could also do the same thing with my father because children often do ice skating during the winter in Shenyang. Shenyang has a long winter such that all the children in the city were familiar with winter sports. When I was little, I admired the children who had a skating cart that could play with friends on the ice. However, my father thought I was so young at that time that I could not be safe on the ice alone. Even I felt upset for couple days and cried to him, he finally did not give the permission that I could have a skating cart and play alone. I was so sad about this and had a big quarrel with my father. At the same time, Chinese spring festival was coming, and my father was so busy. I did not say any words with him for several days. When the spring festival came, my parents let me wore a new red cloth which is the traditional custom in China for celebrating Chinese New Year. The day after the New Year, my father brought me out and gave a New Year gift-a handmade ice-skating cart which was made by himself. I was so happy after I got the gift. And I asked my father to go play with the cart on ice. My father smiled, but he told me I need to play with him before I got old enough to play alone. I knew my father was worry about my safety and felt shame about what I did before. I thought that gift was the one of the best New Year gift I had received. But I felt so funny what I did in my childhood.
